child labour in china
child labour action plan
I want to inform you on stuff that's
happening around the world we
have been working on an action plan
many of you don’t know what that means so it’s people trying to make a change and
get a message out that we need to start taking some action and so hopefully
after you read my message you will understand that you are really lucky.
so the country I have chosen to talk about is china it’s located in the eastern
part of Asia, on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, in the southeastern part of
the Eurasian continent
150,000,000+_ people don't go to school and are working in factories and in coal
mining in stead of going to school do you know how dangerous work can be if you
work in the coal mining you could develop pneumoconiosis (bacteria viruses). The
coal is hard, and accidents to the hands, such as cut, broken, or crushed fingers,
are common among the boys.you could also live in poverty in china and only live on
less than $1.25/day.usually you ask and ask for cheap deals on clothing shoes
example uggs that are very expensive but if you get it cheap then the kids working
and working for that money will not get it for the amount of work they have put
in it.
250 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 work either full time or part time.
Almost half, some 120 million, work full-time, every day, all year around.
kids in child labour don’t have time to play witch is a right they should have
they also don’t have the right’s listed below.
- children do not get the respect they deserve
- people in poverty don’t get the same education that others have
- protection from being forced to work long hours or being sold into slavery
-an education that helps you develop to your greatest ability
-time to play games and have fun time
- food, water , shelter , and clothing
- live with your parents or be given good care
- A clean environment (25% of china doesn’t have clean drinking water)
- have people listen to your opinions especially about decisions that effect you
and your community.
there is even more then that on how many rights that have been violated so now
you know that you have so many rights in this world compared to people in child
labour. It’s time we make a change child labour has been going on for more then
anyone could imagion and what stop us from making a change? nothing is the
answer so what’s stoping us.
and my purpose for this is to inform you about child labour and to take some
action and make one kids life what he has dreamed about for a long time
